The Scandinavian Society for Head and Neck Oncology (SSHNO) is a multi-disciplinary society, open for all professionals with special interest in head and neck oncology in the Nordic countries.

SSHNO is a founding member of the European Head and Neck Society (www.ehns.org), and membership of SSHNO gives full member rights in EHNS, including reduced conference fees.

SSHNO travel grant for visiting a Nordic Center in 2026-27

Nordic multidisciplinary collaboration is a key point for SSHNO. SSHNO would like in 2026 to support one young head and neck specialist (in the field of surgery or oncology) with a grant of 20.000 SEK to visit another Nordic center for a focused stay that could include learning a specific technique, organisational aspects or collaborating on head and neck cancer research.
